Rescue The Generation (RTG) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that endeavors to provide sustainable relief from poverty, disease, and ignorance plaguing many Ethiopian communities. The organization's vision is to: “create empowered and transformed communities living worthy and fulfilled lives.” It emphasizes five objectives:

 

1. Social Justice/Equity (violence against women & children)

2. Harmful Social & Cultural Practices (through awareness building and education)

3. Poverty Alleviation, Livelihood, and Food Security

4. Youth Skills Enhancement & Job Creation

5. Emergency Response
