HopeEthiopia, Inc was formed in 2005 after several of the current directors traveled to Ethiopia and observed the extreme poverty and lack of educational opportunities for orphaned and destitute Ethiopian children and the poor conditions of women. The board is working with selected Ethiopian nonprofit organizations to alleviate some of these problems.
